The first step of a shade sail installation is to put in the attachment points. A little preparation goes a long way towards making this step a success. We have created a checklist of tools, hardware, and information you should have before leaving the shop.
Site Plan
This is the road map for the shade sail. It should show the placement of each attachment point in relation to existing buildings and landmarks. The last thing you want is to get back from a 3-hour drive to the job site only to find out that you measured to the wrong points, or worse - poured concrete in the wrong spot.

Pictured are the basic tools that you need to install a shade sail. Keep these items handy or else you might find yourself making a last-minute trip to your local hardware store.
