Your designs will be complete with necessary building features, shadows at different times of the day and year, and additional features like plants, patio furniture, and other features to paint a full picture.

What's Not Included?
We are NOT engineers; all designs presented are suggestions. We recommend that you reach out to an engineer to get engineered Drawings and Calculations for your shade sail projects.

Shade Sails should NOT be manufactured based on design dimensions. Shade Sails should only be manufactured after the attachment points (posts and brackets) have been installed. Then you may take point-to-point measurements for the shade sails.

Due to site discrepancies, adjustments during installation, and other outside-of-our-control factors, your 3D Rendering will NOT be an exact representation of what the final product looks like. There will be discrepancies between the design and the final product.
How do we design your shade sails?
We'll start with an over-the-phone consultation to understand your shade and design goals, site limitations, and your number one concern. This discussion will guide the direction of the designs.

What we need from you:

What is your number one concern? Do you have a specific spot that needs shade? Looking for high design? The sails must be above 13' to allow for trucks to pass underneath?

How much shade do you want? Are you looking for full coverage? Partial coverage? Shade over a table?

How much design do you want? Are you looking for a high-design concept? Lots of overlapping sails or unusual shapes? Or do you need something simple that gets the job done?

Measurements - We need area measurements to build your 3D rendering as accurately as possible. If something is to be included in the design (a building, a window placement, a pool), we need measurements of that thing as well. The more measurements you give us, the more accurate your drawing can be!

Pictures - Images of the area to be shaded will help us create your rendering as realistically as possible.

Possible Post and Bracket Locations - We have not been to the job site; we rely on you to tell us where you would like posts and brackets to be placed, or where we should avoid placing a post or a bracket.

What if I already have a design?
That's great! Give us the details for your design, and we'll turn it into a 3D model. You'll be able to make sure your design meets your customers' shade needs.

What if I don't have a design to start with?
That's OK! We'll discuss with you the shade goals, customer needs, and site limitations so that we can come up with 3 design options for you to choose from!

Can I order my sail right away?
We're so glad you love the design and are ready to order! However, we always recommend that you install your posts and brackets first and then order your sail based on the actual point-to-point measurements. The design measurements are not accurate, and sails ordered based on these measurements will not fit properly.

How long does it take to get my drawings?
The first step is to schedule a 15-minute phone call with your designer. Once the details of your project are discussed and understood, we will have your first set of drawings (up to 3 design options) ready within 1-2 business days of that design phone call. Revisions will be completed within 1-2 business days once the request for a revision is made.

What format are the designs in?
You will receive images of the designs from different angles (top, side 1, side 2, etc.) in JPG format. You will also receive an animation video of the design showing different angles and shadows at different times of the day in MP4 format.
